Yes, and… while we’re at the math, which is a good approach, 53 Republicans in the Senate and 218 Republicans in the House add up to 271 Republicans who could stop the madness. 25th amendment? War powers? Oversight? Impeachment? Budget control? They are as guilty of war crimes as this president is because they are doing nothing to stop him. As I said in an earlier comment, I’m done with focusing on the madman at the top of the heap for whom there is no hope for sanity. He’s shown that clearly with his continued lies and irrational behavior. The war powers resolution, which could have tried to rein in the madman, failed on a 47-53, along party lines except for Rand voting with Democrats and Fetterman - and what’s he up to? - voting against it with the Republicans. Let’s change the math. No Kings protest on Saturday, March 28. Show up everywhere. Big cities, small towns. Power in numbers to stop the madness.
