(Dobbs) Easter Should Not Be A Day Of Anger.... Unless You're Donald Trump
Trump has all the class of a warthog…. with apologies to warthogs.
Yesterday morning when I saw the story of Donald Trump’s Easter message, which began with “Happy Easter to all,” I wanted to write this column right away. Not because the president took a few moments to deliver a greeting of goodwill, but because this bitter man couldn’t get past those first four words before beginning a broadside about “Radical Left Lunatics”… all before he even finished his first sentence.
But I decided not to write because there was nothing good to say, and even if Trump didn’t want to show respect for observant Christians on one of their most hopeful days, I did. They are still a plurality in this country, and Easter is supposed to be one of their most joyful times of the year. Either because it is a celebration of their belief in the resurrection of Jesus, or because it’s a beautiful day of bonnets and Easter eggs painted in the colors of Spring.
It should not be a day of anger.
But no one told Donald Trump. He can’t take a break from his bitterness. The man is so obsessed and harbors so many grudges, he must go to bed angry and get up angrier. He is totally clueless that on a day like Easter, the Christian citizens of America might like to take a day off. But he couldn’t do that. Even on Easter, he got back down in the gutter where he dwells and pulled up many of his most egregious grievances.
Trump has all the class of a warthog…. with apologies to warthogs.
Read it for yourself. Donald Trump is aggrieved 24/7, 365 days a year. Including Easter.
Trump issued this temperamental tirade just minutes after posting what you’d expect from an American president: something normal. “Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! Whether you are heading out to Church or, watching Service from home, may this day be full of Peace and Joy for all who celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!!”
Forgive me for being snarky, but even this raises questions: when he says “HE IS RISEN,” is he confusing himself with Jesus Christ? When you think about his assertion after the failed assassination attempt last year that “It was God that saved me,” it’s not such an odd question to ask.

Well said. The amount of anger and vitriol is extremely disturbing. It continues to raise issues about his mental stability.
Yikes! With posts like his I realize that without social media there is life in the peaceful lane.
